Below is our step-by-step guide, from initial inquiry to bringing your puppy home.
Step 1: Initial Inquiry & Communication
Fill out the Puppy Inquiry Form on our website to express interest.
Maggie will respond within 15 minutes to discuss:
Available puppies or upcoming litters
Your experience with GSPs (or dogs in general)
Your lifestyle, expectations, and suitability for the breed
We encourage phone calls or email correspondence to answer questions and ensure the perfect match.
Step 2: Puppy Contract Agreement
To ensure formality and transparency, buyers must review and sign our Puppy Purchase Contract before proceeding. This demonstrates full commitment and outlines:
2-Year Health Guarantee – Coverage for genetic conditions (terms outlined)
Spay/Neuter Agreement – Required unless sold with breeding rights
Return Policy – We will always take the puppy back if you can no longer care for it
Buyer Responsibilities – Proper care, training, and veterinary requirements
This safeguards the puppy’s welfare and ensures clarity for both parties.
Step 3: Reservation & Deposit
After signing the contract, a refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your puppy in your name.
Payment Methods:
This deposit secures your selected puppy (if already born) or your spot on the waitlist.
Upon confirmation, you’ll receive a detailed email with next steps for pickup/delivery.
Step 4: Final Payment & Transfer of Ownership
Before pickup/delivery, you’ll sign the Bill of Sale & Change of Ownership, legally transferring all rights to you as the new owner.
The remaining balance is due prior to pickup/delivery.
You’ll receive:
Bill of Sale (official ownership transfer)
Registration
Full Health Records
Puppy Care Package (food samples, litter-scented blanket, etc.)
Step 5: Pickup or Delivery Day
In-Person Pickup:
Scheduled appointment at our facility.
Meet the puppy’s parents and our staff.
Finalize paperwork in person.
Shipping/Delivery:
Arranged through USDA-approved pet transporter partners.
Includes:
Health certificate for travel
Live tracking & real-time updates on your puppy’s status
You must be present to sign for delivery and welcome your puppy.
Post-Adoption Support
Lifetime breeder support – Guidance on training, health, and behavior.
